Diane Franks takes home LG Vito !

Diane Franks recently purchased Vito from LG with an Eventing career in mind. Vito is sired by Namelus R who was overall champion at the stallion show in Den Bosch. His sire, Concorde is famous for his large number of progeny that jump at the highest level.

I would just like to say that it has been an absolute pleasure doing business with you and Mike over the past 6 months.

When I first contacted you, I hadn’t owned my own horse for some years and wanted to get back into Dressage competitions. I needed a horse that was capable of competing, but also had a delightful temperament. After various visits to your fantastic yard and some precious advise from Mike and yourself, I found Lavelle.

Lavelle and I got home, we started working together in our indoor arena and I found that he was everything and more than I wanted and than what you had described. He was a beautiful and well-behaved companion for me.

After the great team work that we had together from the first month, I finally entered us both into a dressage competition, it was wonderful to be able to get back into the saddle and feel such at ease with a great horse. After seeing me in the dressage arena, I was asked by many riders where I found such a beautiful horse, which is so calm. I was only happy to recommend LG Sports Horses when they asked and advise them what a professional yet friendly and informative service you offer.

So, it was no great surprise to me when my husband David wanted to jump in the saddle that I would buy his first ever horse from you. I again contacted you to let you know that David was keen to purchase his own horse. You then found him the perfect horse in “Recruit”. Again, David came over to your yard and rode Recruit a couple of times to make sure that they were going to be compatible and again they were, you really listen to your customers needs and match them perfectly. David and Recruit now make a lovely pair, he has proven to be a great horse and is very calm with David. He is also a pleasure for me in the stables and his mannerisms are excellent.

I must end with saying a very big Thank you, for everything that you have done and for the two beautiful horses we purchased from you. It has been a pleasure to do business with Mike and yourself. So if I’m asked where my next horse will be coming from I can proudly say “LG Sport Horses”.

My recent purchase of 'Elmshorn', a 5 yr old mare, from LG Sporthorses was a friendly and pressure free experience.

When I buy a horse it stays with me for life so I wanted to make sure that the horse was not only capable to do dressage but that we suited each other too. At LG there were a number of horses to look at and I found Mike and Rebecca to be very patient professional and honest in the horse's suitability for my requirements.

'Essie', as I fondly call her, has settled in amazingly well and I intend to do affiliated dressage with her in the very near future. She is a lovely character, has plenty of ability and an absolutely fantastic temperament which I believe says a lot about her breeding and the way she has been handled as a youngster - she is a joy not only to ride but to own as well.

"Just thought we would let you know how Randy is getting on. We have registered her BSJA and are jumping Discovery and Newcomers with success. She has qualified for the second round in March. Even though she only had a short season with the BSPS she received the area trophies for overall winner of novice and open intermediate working hunters at the annual presentation and will be trying for the HOYS and RI qualifiers this year (2006!). Many people ask us where we found such a lovely little horse".

 "Buying Tesse was a stress free experience. We went to LG Sporthorses and saw a horse exactly as described by Mike and Rebecca on the phone. After a few weeks of settling in we had our first lesson and my instructor was very impressed by the way Tesse had been started and produced.

Tesse had her first dressage outing the other week where she behaved impeccably and got some really promising comments from the judges. Hopefully Tesse will start show jumping over the winter and eventing next year.
