After the sad loss of my IDxTB after 15 years together I was concerned about how if at all I would ever find another horse to replace him.

I decided that I wanted to look into purchasing a KWPN bred horse so I made some enquiries and was recommended to contact LG Sporthorses.

I telephoned and spoke to Mike who told me about a grey gelding, 5 years old called LG Aldorro that they were thinking of selling (much to Rebecca’s dismay!), so that was it the next day myself and my father travelled up the M6 to LG to meet and view LG Aldorro (Alfie as I now call him).

Both Rebecca and Mike were great and made the viewing really easy and made sure they told me everything about LG Aldorro, his prolific breeding pedigree and his training and education thus far. Rebecca put him through his paces and then finally I got on board – WOW is all I can say I loved him !!!!. Needless to say after a seamless vetting I purchased LG Aldorro from LG Sporthorses in March 2010 but decided to keep the horse at livery for 4 weeks to enable me to familiarise myself with him and get as much support from Rebecca and Mike before taking him home. Also during this time Rebecca continued producing him for me.

I took Alfie home in April 2010 and he settled in to his new life in Warwickshire – he is such a lovely chap and loves nothing more than a couple of rich tea fingers as an after dinner treat.

He is now competing at BE Novice level with a total of 16 points to date and going from strength to strength, but remains the same lovely Alfie to handle.

I cannot recommend Rebecca and Mike at LG Sporthorses enough to anyone looking for a quality sporthorse and would like to thank them for their help and constant support.

I do feel a little sorry for them though as instead of selling a horse they have gained a highly excitable owner who makes sure they are regularly updated with all Alfies goings on, Good and Bad!!!
