11/7/2008   Selected for Junior GB Team  

Serano after some convincing results this season has been selected for the Junior GB Team. Piloted by a very confident Mary Edmundson, Serano has gone from strength to strength under his new found jockey. Having conquered at Burnham Market in the Intermediate and needless to say in good company, Mary and Serano have now found out they are to compete at the European Championships later in the year. LG Sporthorses would like to wish Mary and Serano the best of luck.

13/08/06 A Win for LG Lonnie

LG Lonnie took her event career to the next level this weekend with an outstanding win at Bold Heath ODE in only her second start at British Eventing. Following on from her fantastic debut at Tetton, Lonnie is moving from strength to strength. This lovely young mare came to the LG training stables directly from her breeder as a three year old and has shown all the qualities to take her to the highest level. Her partnership with Neil Fox proves that when quality breeding meets quality riding - skies the limit!

10/08/06 LG Triumph upgrades to Novice

LG Triumph competed in his first Novice ODE at Aston le Walls and finished an impressive 3rd gaining 4 BE points. Triumph has also had a successful season Showjumping in foxhunter classes. This 6 yr old gelding is proving to be an all round talent. He is sired by Cavalier (KWPN) who has claimed major successes in the international arena with Franke Sloothaak. The combination won more than 40 international competitions; grandprix, puissance and speed classes.

 
 

29/07/06 Tetton Horse Trials

A successful weekend for LGSporthorses
LG Lonnie has completed her first PN event with international event rider Neil Fox at Tetton Horse Trials scoring 28.5 in Dressage and finally finishing in 7th place.

"As this is her first ever event she has done fantastically well and this horse and rider combination will be a real challenge for the competition in the next few months to come".

"Her breeding is world class and includes Quidam de Revel. The mare is showing fantastic scope that will be an asset as she moves up the levels"

In the same section and the outright winner was Serano owned and ridden by Sally Chamberlain. This fantastic grey gelding is sired by Lagunas. Serano was purchased from LG Sporthorses two years ago and already has 2 wins under his belt this season and will soon be upgraded to Novice.

Sally said, "He was well pleased with himself today - he always knows when he has been a good boy. He is such a character. I am really looking forward to moving him up to novice".

LG Triumf “Triumphs” at Purston Manor ODE - 1 July 06

LG Triumf left the competition standing with his recent win at Purston Manor. Finishing on a score of 24.5 leaving a 9 point gap with the rest of the competitors. His rider was in good company beating off stiff competition from Matt Ryan, Terry Boon and Daisy Dick.
Triumf is a 6 yr old gelding sired by the world renowned Cavalier (Mr San Patrignano) and has had an impressive season with his results in showjumping and now eventing. He really is a truly all-round talented young horse.
